Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete the data that Cognitiev (Vaani) holds from your Meta login — including data from connected Facebook Pages / Messenger, Instagram Business accounts, and WhatsApp Business numbers. You can use any of the methods below.

Option 1 — Remove the app from Facebook

1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
2. Find Cognitiev in the list and choose Remove.
3. Facebook then notifies our automated deauthorize endpoint, and we delete the access tokens, conversations, and messages associated with your login.

Option 2 — Disconnect inside the app

1. Log in at voice.cognitiev.com.
2. Go to Integrations.
3. Disconnect the channel (Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp). The stored credentials for that channel are deleted immediately.

Option 3 — Request deletion by email

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We will delete your data and confirm within 30 days.

Our automated, signed_request-verified data-deletion callback is available at https://api.cognitiev.com/api/meta/data-deletion, and the deauthorize callback at https://api.cognitiev.com/api/meta/deauthorize. Each request returns a confirmation code and removes the corresponding tokens and Meta-channel conversations and messages.
